nebenbei viel gelacht

Acrylic on canvas

The center of the picture remains almost empty: a large creamy-white surface with a visible brush trace. Pressed toward the left and right edges, warm colors flare up, orange, red, golden yellow, dark red, and brown, in impasto clusters. At the bottom, the yellow dissolves into pale streaks.
